The event arena and Expo are in Paraty’s historic center. PTR 17 and NIGHT 10 start at Fazenda Bananal and finish in the historic center. Check your race page for the start location and time.
Paraty Brazil by UTMB takes place September 23–26, 2027. Race start times below are Brasília time (UTC−3).
- PTR 100: 101 km · 4,850 m elevation gain · September 24 at 7 p.m.
- PTR 55: 53 km · 3,200 m · September 25 at 5 a.m.
- PTR 34: 34 km · 1,100 m · September 25 at 7 a.m.
- PTR 25: 25 km · 750 m · September 25 at 6 a.m.
- PTR 17: 17 km · 550 m · September 25 at 3 p.m.
- NIGHT 10: 10 km · 270 m · September 25 at 7 p.m.
- RUN 7: 7 km · 50 m · September 26 at 7 a.m.
Yes. For the 2027 edition of Paraty Brazil by UTMB, the following requirements apply:
- PTR 100 (101 km): a valid UTMB Index in the 50K category is required.
- PTR 55 (53 km): a valid UTMB Index in the 20K category is required.
No UTMB Index is required for the following races:
- PTR 34 (34 km)
- PTR 25 (25 km)
- PTR 17 (17 km)
- NIGHT 10 (10 km)
- RUN 7 (7 km)
The UTMB Index must be valid at the time of registration.
On October 26–27, 2026, early access is limited to runners with a valid UTMB Index in any category. General registration opens October 28 at 10 a.m. Brasília time (UTC−3). Each race’s entry requirements still apply.
The final registration deadline for Paraty Brazil by UTMB 2027 is August 10, 2027, or until all entries are sold out, whichever comes first.

A headlamp is mandatory for PTR 17 and NIGHT 10. NIGHT 10 uses the PTR 17 checklist. Gear will be checked at race packet pickup for both races, with additional checks possible at the start and along the course.
Yes, we offer a 50% discount for seniors (individuals aged 60 or older).
Please send an email to paraty@service.utmb.world with your identification document to receive the discount voucher.
Refund conditions depend on the reason for your request. If you choose to withdraw, please consult the event regulations and contact paraty@service.utmb.world. If the organizer cancels the event, the specific cancellation provisions in the regulations apply.
Bib transfers will be permitted until August 10, 2027, subject to the payment of an administrative fee of R$ 100 (US$ 20 / EUR 20).
To request the transfer, the athlete must send an email to paraty@service.utmb.world.
After this date, no bib transfers or refunds will be allowed.
Distance changes will be permitted until August 10, 2027, under the following conditions:
- For distance upgrades, the athlete must pay the difference between the amount originally paid and the current price of the selected distance at the time of the request.
- For distance downgrades, no refund of the price difference will be issued.
To request a distance change, the athlete must send an email to paraty@service.utmb.world.
After this date, no distance changes will be allowed.
The GPX files can be found on each course page, available at this link: https://paraty.utmb.world/races.
We recommend that athletes download the GPX files to their watches or mobile phones as a safety measure during the race. It's important to note that in case of any discrepancy on race day, always follow the official course markings. Minor adjustments may occur and will be communicated during the technical briefing for each course in the week leading up to the event, if necessary.
Please also note that parts of the courses pass through private properties, which cannot and should not be accessed outside of event days, when owners give permission for athletes to pass.

After accessing your dashboard, click on “Edit My Registration” in the “My Races” section.
Within this area, you will be able to upload your medical certificate directly on the platform for validation by the team.

Submit your medical certificate by August 31, 2027. The event team will review it and email you the result within 15 calendar days after submission. Certificates from other physicians, clinics, or races will also be accepted if they meet all of the event’s requirements.
In September, Paraty usually has mild temperatures in the morning and warm, humid weather throughout the day, with a chance of rain.
The kit must be picked up at the EXPO.
Thursday, September 23 From 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM For all distances.
Friday, September 24 From 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM For all distances. PTR 100: kit pick-up available until 6:00 PM.
Saturday, September 25 From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Only for PTR 17, NIGHT 10 and RUN 7. PTR 17: pick-up available until 12:00 PM.
Important: It is necessary to schedule your pick-up time in advance through the Athlete Dashboard.
Kit pick-up can be done by a third party, as long as they present the printed authorization signed by hand by the athlete.
