Yes. For the 2026 edition of Paraty Brazil by UTMB, the following requirements apply:
- PTR 108K (108 km): a valid UTMB Index in the 50K category is required.
- PTR 58K (58 km): a valid UTMB Index in the 20K category is required.
No UTMB Index is required for the following races:
- PTR 34K (34 km)
- PTR 25K (25 km)
- PTR 17K (17 km)
- RUN 7K (7 km)
The UTMB Index must be valid at the time of registration.

Yes, we offer a 50% discount for seniors (individuals aged 60 or older). Please send an email to paraty@service.utmb.world with your identification document to receive the discount voucher.
If you purchased the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, you can request a refund through your My UTMB account. Access your event registration and click on "Apply for refund." The insurance will assess the eligibility for the refund. Without insurance, there is no option for a refund.
Bib transfers will be permitted until August 14, 2026, subject to the payment of an administrative fee of R$ 100 (US$ 20 / EUR 20).
To request the transfer, the athlete must send an email to paraty@service.utmb.world.
After this date, no bib transfers or refunds will be allowed.
Distance changes will be permitted until August 14, 2026, under the following conditions:
- For distance upgrades, the athlete must pay the difference between the amount originally paid and the current price of the selected distance at the time of the request.
- For distance downgrades, no refund of the price difference will be issued.
To request a distance change, the athlete must send an email to paraty@service.utmb.world.
After this date, no distance changes will be allowed.
The GPX files can be found on each course page, available at this link: https://paraty.utmb.world/pt/races. We recommend that athletes download the GPX files to their watches or mobile phones as a safety measure during the race. It's important to note that in case of any discrepancy on race day, always follow the official course markings. Minor adjustments may occur and will be communicated during the technical briefing for each course in the week leading up to the event, if necessary.
Please also note that parts of the courses pass through private properties, which cannot and should not be accessed outside of event days, when owners give permission for athletes to pass.
